逍遙遊意象(天風浪浪)

莊子「逍遙遊」謂:北冥有魚,其名為鯤。鯤之大,不知其幾千里也。化而為鳥,其名為鵬。鵬之背,不知其幾千里也;怒而飛,其翼若垂天之雲。莊子哲學思想係欲藉由鯤鵬寓意,改變人們習以為常的世俗觀念,拓大想像空間,探索更高境界,同時亦展現出大自然蘊涵於心中的藝術性美感。

回溯西洋美術史,十九世紀初,北歐浪漫主義風潮,藝術創作,不是依賴事物或自然的外表視覺,而強調經驗中的非理性,和超自然因素,企圖超越物質與實證境界,直接指向精神與靈性的最高意境。此觀點與莊子「逍遙遊」寓意不謀而合。此作品,藉由80Fx3組合成436x112cm三聯畫大型平面創作,呈現天地壯闊之美。並以廿一世紀人的觀點與思維,將人們眼中的自然予以重新詮釋,作品拋棄傳統寫實、寫景之外在表象,而融入抽象形式與語彙,藉以釋放傳統物象之束縛,並藉由象徵性運用,擴大想像空間,讓人自由自在,隨心所欲,淌漾於情感的波濤,神遊太虛。

作品在技法上將西方抽象表現主義行動繪畫,內化轉換為一種深具東方人文特質的韻律與抒情氣象,並以獨特的氣化造型語彙原創風格貫通抽象與具象,抽象具象化,具象抽象化,互質對應,呈現渾沌浩瀚、充斥無限精神能量,如極光似的日耀雲彩與流盪大氣。此作品係藉由80F三件作品組合,作品可視展覽空間以三件145.5x112cm(80F)作品獨立展出,亦可以291x112cm及145.5x112cm兩件作品形式,或組合成高112cm,寬度為435.5cm之三聯畫平面創作展出。

Zhuangzi once said: “In the Northern Darkness there is a fish, his name is Kun. Kun is so big that I don’t know how many thousands of li long he is. He changes into a bird, named Peng. Peng’s back is I don’t know how many thousand li wide. When he takes off, his wings seem to cover the clouds. When the currents move, then this bird takes off for the Southern Darkness, to the Heavenly Pond." Through Zhuangzi’s philosophical thinking, by means of Kun and Peng, implies that people should change their usual cogitation, to expand their imagination and explore higher levels and shows the artistic beauty of nature.

Looking back on the history of Western fine arts, in the early 19th century, the Nordic romantic trend, artistic creation, instead of relying on the external vision of things or nature, emphasized the irrationality and supernatural factors in experience, trying to transcend the realm of material and empirical, and directly point to a higher level of spiritual conception, and this view is very similar to Zhuangzi’s philosophy. This work is composed of 80Fx3 combined into a 436x112cm triptych large-scale graphic creation, showing the magnificent beauty of the world. And reinterpreted the nature work from the perspective and philosophy of people in the 21st century.

The work abandons the external appearance of traditional realism and scenery, and integrates abstract forms and vocabulary. Through releasing the restriction of traditional image. To avoid misunderstanding of the abstract and vocabulary, the work combined with figurative elements and the use of symbols to expand the imagination. Through the swirling technic to combine with figurative elements, make the abstract visualize, and abstract the figurative ones, the abstract and figurative elements correspond to each other, presents the aurora liked image of clouds and airflow, shows the vastness and infinite spiritual energy. The work is composed of three pieces of 80F. The works can be displayed independently in the exhibition space with three pieces of 145.5x112cm (80F). They can also be in the form of two pieces of 291x112cm and 145.5x112cm, or they can be combined into a triple of 112cm in height and 435.5cm in width.
